Obviously the computer-generated text is not pixel art, but the only reason why it was there was because it was the copyright and the rules for using the base. A lot of people just save the image files and don't even bother to read the artist's comments, so when the person who saved the image finally goes to use the base, they don't know where it came from or what exactly they can do with it - if the rules aren't part of the image.
If I made bases, I'd put my rules and copyright right in the image, and I've seen countless other people do it as well. It needs to be done because people in general are too incompetent and in a rush to read the rules the base creator set for the base!
When the rules and copyright are in the same file, it does not detract from the base. The focus is still the base. If people would read the rules for a base they plan to use, then the need to put them within the same file as the base would not exist. Sadly this is not the case, and it probably never will be.
In the mean time, the rules need to be on the base, and the people in charge here need to realize the need for this. Just because the rules, written in computer-generated text, are on the base file doesn't mean it still isn't a pixel base.

People are incompetent.. I like it, harsh but oh so true...

A: Well, you could try to wash it down with another sandwich, but that could be hard to stuff in a cup, & even harder to sip through a straw!"
